About Tree Cafe

Taiwan's Tree Cafe, an International Art Community of Volunteers:

As of May 1999 the Tree Cafe restaurant was introduced the Taiwanese community to enjoy a warm cup of coffee or a hot meal among friends and family. It is now more than just a restaurant, it is a place to explore and share international cultures through cuisine and conversation with old friends and new friends alike.

You can mingle with our fish lover, Matt who reminds us that good smoked salmon must always be made with a personal touch. He invites you to experience his smoke oven.

You will no doubt see Lea cooking up a feast at our next community event or you might catch Charles cooking his spicy specialty in the evenings. If you need tips on spices you can mingle with Deep our spice connoisseur. Asta is a familiar face at the Cafe always offering a friendly smile and a chilled drink from the bar. You can't miss Laurent or his French accent singing and playing music for us or Hoover chanting Chinese songs while cooking and sharing his wealth of culinary information. Be sure to stop by Martin's woodshop to browse his masterpieces while asking questions and gathering information about genuine European cooking ideas and gourmet cheeses. You can even catch a glimpse of our beloved milking goats grazing among their farm friends in front of the Dream Community Office!

As for me…at the end of the day you can probably find me, casually sitting cross legged snuggled into a patio chair on the terrace, sipping a cup of steaming coffee. I smile to myself enjoying the eclectic gathering of friendly faces and international flavors. I welcome you to the Tree Cafe. Bonne Appetit!
